Update And View Your Calendar From Anywhere
Edit an event or task once and you don't have to make the same
change on
another software package or hardware device. Your ScheduleWorld
global calendar will take care of keeping everything in sync.
Change an event in Outlook, do a sync (can be scheduled to happen
automatically) and the updated event will be
available on your cell phone, your iPod, OS/X mail, Thunderbird,
and more.
You can find out more details about synchronization here: ScheduleWorld SyncML

Open Standards Support - iCalendar and SyncML
The reason why the ScheduleWorld Global Calendar is so widely
supported and works so well with so many applications is because
it is based on the open standards iCalendar (RFC 2445, RFC 2446)
and SyncML (1.1 with 1.2 available shortly). These are the defacto
industry standards for calendaring, scheduling and synchronization.

Direct Support For Invite/Accept/Cancel With Outlook (And Others)
Folks using Microsoft Outlook (and others) can schedule a meeting
with you directly. You can also schedule a meeting with Microsoft
Outlook (and others) directly. ScheduleWorld takes care of the
communication back and forth between you and others using email.
Specifically, iTIP and iMIP (RFC 2446 and RFC 2447).
The preferences page has the 'bridge' email address that other folks must
use to schedule a meeting with you. In turn, they will see this
'bridge email' address when they receive a meeting invite from you.
NOTE: You can only accept an invite/accept/cancel/etc. request using
the Java client at the moment. You can only send requests using the
HTML client at the moment.

Searching And Indexing
Each calendar you own and control can be publicly indexed if you
wish. This
makes the calendar publicly searchable. It works a lot like Google
but only for calendars.
The preferences page gives you the control to enable or disable indexing.
The Java client can do searches on this indexed data, and this
capability will be included in the HTML client shortly.
