Synthesis SyncML Client for PalmOS v. 2.9.9.7 and birthdays

Hi,

I have updated my Synthesis Client for my Palm to the latest beta. Has anyone gotten syncing of the birthday field to work?

I've tried setting the birthday field on the palm and then sync. But it is not shown on the server and it is removed on the Palm after sync.

I've also tried setting on the server, but it is not propagated to the Palm after sync.

Regards,
Lars Persson Fink.

SOLUTION

Enable the Bday yyyymmdd option found here:

HTML prefs -> click 'Edit Settings'

Detailed info:

The Synthesis client needs the birthday to be formatted a certain way. The vCard spec allows 2 types of formatting but the Synthesis client only supports one.

The Synthesis dev I spoke to said a future version of the client will support both formats but until then you can just enable the option above.

Cheers.
