Wrt no items tranferred, the funambol client may be out of sync and you may want to try to get it back in sync by using its 'replace * data' modes.
Be sure NOT to use the 'update * data' modes as they are broken.
Google will return this error if someone has given the wrong password to your account a number of times. Google does this as a security measure. You have to manually log in with a web browser - then this will go away.
