ScheduleWorld
Developers
ScheduleWorld is based entirely on open standards. The calendaring and scheduling RFCs are 2445, 2446, and 2447. In addition to RFC 2447, we are also providing a transparently fault tolerant SOAP interface to our global scheduling cluster to make it as easy as possible for developers to utilize our (currently free) services in any language on any operating system.
It is our intention to make our global scheduling cluster available to anyone who wishes to use it. The roadblocks that are preventing us from allowing this immediately are:
- The API is not ready to publish. We have no ETA. This is a work in progress. Please be patient as these things take time.
- The revenue sharing license is not ready. We have no ETA. We need ideas and feedback from people on this.
When the API and license are finished you will be able to integrate your calendaring application with the ScheduleWorld distributed services network and share our revenue based on a percentage of the revenue your application was responsible for.
Developers who want to tap into the global ScheduleWorld network will be pleased to know that the ScheduleWorld services may be accessed via SOAP and (eventually) iMIP (RFC 2447). This means you can virtually use any programming language on any operating system in existence to connect and utilize our services.
